The operation of a newly installed four-color, both-side printing machine aimed at enhancing the printing capacity of the Department of Government Printing, along with the re-launch of its modernized official website (www.documents.gov.lk), takes place today (11).
The events are scheduled to be held at the premises of the Department of Government Printing under the patronage of the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.
The new four-color, both-side printing press has been installed to further boost the department's efficiency and overall capacity, enabling it to meet the government's printing requirements more efficiently and swiftly.
Valued at approximately LKR 162 million, the introduction of this new printing machine is expected to further strengthen the technical and operational capabilities of the Department of Government Printing.
Meanwhile, the upgraded official website, www.documents.gov.lk, is also set to be re-launched today with the aim of providing a more convenient and efficient service to the public and state institutions.
This modernization initiative will allow the public to access official government documents and information regarding printing services much more conveniently via digital channels.
