The Deputy Elections Commissioner MM Mohamed said that the Elections Secretariat will deploy 195,000 state employees for election duty.
Accordingly, 120,000 state employees will be deployed on the Election Day while 75,000 will be deployed for the counting process, he said.
The counting of votes will take place in 12,021 centres. Two representatives per candidate will be permitted at counting centres.
