The UN Representative said this when he called on President Maithripala Sirisena tuesday (15.9.2015) at the Presidential Secretariat.

The President said that he will be attending the General debate of the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on 30th September 2015.

The President reiterated Sri Lanka’s commitment to all international obligations which it has engaged with and will continue to do so in the future.

Mr Nandy presented to the President several books and journals published by United Nations office in Sri Lanka including the Sri Lanka National Human Development Report 2014 published by UNDP.
