We should begin this new year with the novel aspiration to achieve success in life by correcting the mistakes made throughout the past year.
New aspirations energize human life and pave way to realize our goals. As Sri Lankans, it is our wish to conquer our future as a united nation.
During the period of past year, the new government has facilitated this country to be a peaceful, independent and a stable state in the world. The prime objective of this government is to realize public aspirations.

Commemorating year 2015, which laid foundation for a remarkable change in the political history of Sri Lanka, we should step in to a new year in a good governed land of freedom and prosperity.
