Mr Karunarathna Paranavithana, Deputy Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media will leave for Korea on Sunday (22) to attend the World Information, Communication and Broadcasting ministerial meeting to be held from 24 - 26 May in Incheon, Korea. Ministers or vice ministers of Broadcasting from the 26 AIBD member countries will participateat this meeting to de;liberate on the theme The Role and Contributions ofBroadcasting for future Development . Deputy minister Mr Paranavithana is expected to deliver his speech on the Sri Lankan experience on curaent status of broadcasting technology, success and failure cases of new technology introduced in Sri Lanka.
Mr Karunarathna Paranavithana, Deputy Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media will leave for Korea on Sunday.
