Government plans to restructure the State Printing Corporation (SPC) using modern equipment and training with the expectation to increase its efficiency.

Minister of Parliament Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilake made these remarks yesterday (27th June) participating the opening of the SPC mobile outlet in front of the Colombo- Fort Railway station. The SPC has established its outlets at Colombo- Fort Railway station, Maradana Railway station, Karapitiya teaching hospital, Mawanella general hospital, and at the Kirindiwela central college. These outlets will provide the customers the discounts up to 50% for their purchases.

Deputy Minister Karunarathne Paranawithana, and the new Chairman of the SPC Ravi Kalansooriya were also present.
