Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave for Indonesia today (1st Aug.) for an official visit.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe is scheduled to make a special address at the Inaugural Session of the 12th World Islamic Economic Summit and scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati and Maritime Affairs Minister Susi Pudjiastuti.

The Prime Minister’s office said that the Prime Minister would meet several state leaders following his special address to the summit. Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Najith Tun Abdul Razak, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jawad al-Anani, would hold discussions with the Prime Minister. Professor Maithri Wickremasinghe, Minister Kabir Hashim, State Minister A.H.M. Fowzi. Deputy Minister Sujeeva Senasinghe, Prime Minister’s Secretary Saman Ekanayake, Prime Minister’s Additional Secretary Saman Athudahetti, would accompany the Prime Minister.
