Colombo in relation to the responsibility of the Secretaries to the Ministries on the right to information act. The programme was organized by the RTI division of the Ministry of Mass Media with the sponsorship of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) subject to the request of the Ministry of Mass Media.
Mr. Piyatissa Ransinghe, former Director of the RTI Commission participated as the resource person in the workshop to which 40 government officers including the Secretaries to the Ministries participated.
Mrs. U. P. L. D. Pathirana, Additional Secretary, Mr. J. W. S. Kithsiri, Director and M. P. Bandara, Assistant Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media as well as Mrs. Chamindri Saparamadu, Technical Consultant, as well as Mrs. Naulie Wimalarathne, as the Management and Coordinating Consultant of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) participated in this workshop.
